On the northern most point of Evia, surrounded by heavily wooded hills with one of the most beautiful beaches facing the Pagasitikos Gulf lays Pefki, which combines pine studded hills spreading towards the sea. It is one of the most frequented seaside village resorts in Evia.

The beach spreads out 4 km. along the coast and has a boardwalk lined with numerous restaurants, fish tavernas, cafes, bars and patisseries. There is a large selection of accommodation such as family run hotels, hotel apartments, studios, villas, pension and rooms for rent with reasonable rates to choose from as well as a campground.

In Pefki you can find almost anything you may need for your stay, there are a couple of supermarkets, mini markets, bakeries and kiosks located all along the beach front.

Pefki is well known as a family resort perfect for a relaxed and quiet vacation. The beach is clean and sandy and the water is clear and calm for kids to swim in. You can rent plastic lounge chairs with umbrellas and there are showers and change booths spaced out along the beach.

From Pefki's port there are flying dolphins and a small cruise boat that travel several times a day to Skiathos, Skopelos and Alonissos which is ideal for a day trip.

If you have transortation you can visit the surrounding villages and beaches nearby. Pefki is also known as a good fishing area and many locals and tourists pass their time by fishing off the pier or night fishing from the beach.

Pefki is located 118 km. from Halkida and 30 km from Edipsos and there are local bus routes which connect Pefki to most of the nearby villages including Istiea, Edipsos and Chalkida.
